Description

The name of this new painting being donated to an amazing non-profit organization is "One In Ten Thousand" because it is believed that One Baby Sea Turtle in Ten Thousand born and make it to the ocean survives long enough to give birth to more. That is why its so important to help this species! From over development of beaches, bright lights, predators, poachers, fishing nets, and ocean pollution these turtles have a hell of a journey for survival!

I chose to create this painting for the Sea Turtle Oversight Protection organization after my wife became a volunteer and volunteered close to 150 hours on the beach saving thousands of baby sea turtles with her team of Zone 6. I witnessed the earth birthing these beauties with my wife just a couple of months ago! I was in awe of how they came out of the earth and most made their way to the ocean while others were disoriented (DO) due to bright lights on buildings. If it weren't for volunteers to stop the DO's we would have a big problem of EXTINCTION of these beautiful Sea Turtles! They need more Volunteers so help any way you can!!
